Authenticity of Ram Setu?
Ram is nothing a mere myth in the history, the place existed in the Indian Ocean now is the only natural structure, not a man made. Hindu (Santana) very know that there is no Ram and Krishana and other types of Gods, these are only novelists Gods which exist in the epic stories of India, approximately 5000 year ago the Indus valley civilization is existed, from where the Aryans come from the central Asia and raids towards India for the food, they strike Dravidians and force to move them to South India, and they set back in the north part of the India, near the river Indus, the Harppan culture, Mahejodaro culture are the part of these civilization. These are the also part of Aryans civilization, they develop the Vedas, they totally epic and full of sex and black magic, but a Hindu said these are made by god, the Rishis full of lust and leisure they make Vedas, Simrtis and other Hindu fake Books. Geological evidence indicates that the bridge comprised a land connection between India and Sri Lanka at one point during the Wisconsin glaciation. During periods of lowered sea level over the last 100,000 years, Adam's bridge has provided an intermittent land connection between India and Sri Lanka, which according to famous ornithologists Sidney Dillon Ripley and Bruce Beehler supports the vicariance model for speciation in some birds of the Indian sub-continen.
Ram and the magic of mythology
“Quoting former Owl - prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru, he said Ramayana was a story based on the fight between Aryan and Dravidian races.”
Ram is an imaginary character and Ram Sethu is not a man-made bridge. The Centre should not do anything to disturb the Sethusamudram project," Asked whether he had differences with the Centre on the project, he said, "Our differences are only with the religious fundamentalist forces and not with the Centre".
In an affidavit having the potential of creating political controversy on the issue of Ram Sethu, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) in its affidavit to the Supreme Court in the Sethusamudram project case has not only dismissed the existence of any man-made bridge between India and Sri Lanka but even questioned the existence of the characters of Ramayana. Director (monuments) of the Archeological Survey India C.Dorjee, in the affidavit, stated that the mythological texts of Ramayana formed an important part of ancient Indian literature as novel, “but which cannot be said to be historical record to incontrovertibly prove the existence of the characters, or the occurrence of the events, depicted therein.” The affidavit was filed in response to a Supreme Court notice issued to the Centre on a bunch of petitions filed before the apex court and in the Madras High Court. The ASI stated that it had though not conducted any deep study about the underwater formation known as “Adam’s Bridge” believed to be “Ram Sethu” by the Hindus and the evidence available so far, “reasonably concluded that the formation…is not a man-made structure rather a natural formation made up of shoals/sand bars, which possessed their particular shape and form due to several millenia of wave action and sedimentation." It further said any study relating to any man-made monuments must be carried out in a scientific manner and its findings must be based on tangible material evidence. “…mere named reference cannot conclusively prove the fact that the formation is actually a man-made structure… no such human remains have been discovered at the site of the formation,” the affidavit said. Regarding latest NASA pictures on the images of Adams Bridge, the ASI director claimed that conclusions of these images had been “misread and misinterpreted” by several petitioners who have approached the court to project it as Ram Sethu or a man-made structure. “The US agency has publicly clarified that although these images were taken by its spacecraft, it is not responsible for any interpretations made by third parties of such images,” the affidavit said. Even NASA has referred to the Adams Bridge formation as a “tombolo”, which might be described as a deposition landform such as a sand bar or a sand-spit. It normally formed a narrow piece of land between an island or offshore rock and a mainland shore, or between two islands or offshore rocks, said the ASI while dismissing the formation of “no archaeological interest” for it. Unless the parameters laid for scientific study of any structure to prove it to be a man-made were met to the satisfaction of the ASI, “the question of construing Adams Bridge as an ancient monument and declaring it as a protected monument doe not arise,” the affidavit emphasised.
Dating controversies
THE SETHUSAMUDRAM shipping canal project has been approved by the government of India at the time of BJP Govt. BJP, RSS and VHP also knows that there is no ram and other god in Hinduism but they only go for Hindu sympathy and votes. Pictures taken by NASA [The National Aeronautics & Space Administration], USA from the space, show the remains of what appears to be an age-old, natural bridge between Rameshwaram and Sri Lanka. According to Hindu scriptures and belief, Ram and his Vaanar Sena built a bridge from Rameshwaram to Sri Lanka 17, 25,000 years ago. We discuss above that Indus Valley civilization is exists in 5000 years ago, now the thing is that where Ram comes from, it comes from nothing in 17 lakhs year ago. This is typical mythology that Hindu minds create. US space agency NASA says pictures taken by its astronauts do not prove the existence or otherwise of a manmade Ram Setu bridge as mentioned in the Hindu epic Ramayana. "I am not aware of any carbon dating either," said NASA spokesman Michael Braukus, refuting claims by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that the agency had the Adam's bridge in Palk Strait - known as Ram Setu in India - carbon dated as being 1.7 million years old. "Some people have taken pictures taken by our astronauts to make their claim. No position can be taken on the basis of these photographs in any way," tip. "The age, substratum, geological structure or anthropological status of the ocean bed in Palk strait cannot be determined by the astronauts' photographs. So there is no basis for these claims," Braukus said. Back in October 2002 too the US agency had rebutted a story circulated by an Indian news agency based on claims made by a couple of NRI websites and Hindu news services that "space images taken by NASA" had revealed "a mysterious ancient bridge in the Palk Strait". "Remote sensing images or photographs from orbit cannot provide direct information about the origin or age of a chain of islands, and certainly cannot determine whether humans were involved in producing any of the patterns seen," NASA official Mark Hess had said then. "The mysterious bridge was nothing more than a 30 km long, naturally-occurring chain of sandbanks called Adam's bridge," Hess had added. |
